Honda CBR 150R - Most Expected
The Most Expected Honda's bike of the year Honda CBR150R.
Honda has released only one hit in the 150cc segment, Honda Unicorn and has not planned to release its next 150 cc bike till end of 2008, but after the arrival of Yamaha r15, a world class sports bike and Suzuki GS150R, Honda wanted to participate again.
Honda has planned to launch its CBR150R by the mid of 2009.
Specifications:
Engine Capacity: 149.4cc
Engine Type: 4 stroke
Output Power : 25.68bhp@10500rpm
Engine Torque: 13.7nm@8500rpm
Top Speed: 160kmph
Braking: Dual Disc(Front Disc and Rear Disc)
The CBR 150R is going to be released with 149.4cc and with a maximum power output of 17bhp which is more or less similar to Yamaha R15.
But the Size of the bike and its design appeals to be more better than the R15.
The Top speed of the bike is 160kmph which is not touched by any bikes in India. even the best (R15) has reached only 140kmph.
The bike's wheels carries discs both in rear and front wheel.
The price of the bike would be around 90000-95000.Rs.
Draw backs:
Cheers!!!

Bajaj Pulsar 180cc dtsi
I bought the Pulsar 180 DTSi on May month of 2008. Actually I was interested in getting the new Unicorn GrandPrix edition which was the latest of that time. I was reakky shocked when i had the Test Drive which doesnot satisfy my expetations.
I know that Bajaj upgraded pulsar but i didnot know about the upgrades. so i didnot concentrate on it.
Then saw CBZ Xtreme which satisfied my desire for speed and style. so i made up my mind to get it. But i was a strong opposer of Hero Honda except CBZ Xtreme. Because i feel that CBZ Xtreme is the only best bike i have felt after driving all bikes. CBZ Xtreme appeared to be better than Karizma of that time. I was dreaming all about CBZ Xtreme all those days.
It all remained only before when i saw my Black Guy. It was on April month when i was taking money to the Hero Honda showroom to book my bike, I saw a guy with Pulsar 150cc entirely strange. I asked whether it was an imported pulsar he laughed at me and said that it was the new Digital Pulsar. The name was striking. I wanted to see the Speedometer when i saw it, i was completely broken. Because it was everything in LCD.
Now i had chosen my bike it was Digital Pulsar. I went to Khivraj Showroom at Anna Salai near Anna Flyover. When i went there i had Black 150 and 180. Believe it was the love at first sight and i just went and asked the person to book Pulsar 180cc. I didn't get 200cc at that time:(
The bike was much astonishing and it gae me pride to drive the bike.
It helped me to take revenge on my friends, neighbors and especially a Karizma guy whom i thought of winning him in a race for a long time.
The Bike gave me style, Speed, Mileage, Efficiency and finally Confidence on myself.
I have reached 117kmph as the top speed and 58kmpl is the best mileage that the bike has given me.
Now i get mileage around 48kmpl to 52kmpl depending upon roads and speed which i travel.
Those who want to enjoy Super speeds with a good mileage and purchase their bike at reasonable price Go for Pulsar180 is my suggestion.

Hyundai i30 - review
The Hyundai i30 is the successor of Hyundai i20. Its release was expected to be at the July month of 2009.(in India)
The Car has already rocked many countries:
In 2007 - Australian Car of the Year and Green Car of the Year.
In 2008 - Spain's Car of the Year. (lets expect it to rock India also!!!)
The car is similar to its predecessors in Car Body type - " Hatch Back", but the Engine capacity, speed and other things makes it as the unbeatable boss to i10 and i20.
The i30 car is going to carry a 1396cc, 4 cylinder DOHC Engine with a maximum power of 107.5 bhp @ 6200rpm.
Top speed is 187kmph (lets expect the same thing fro India too)
Fuel consumption is 12kmpl on Highways and 9kmpl on City roads.
But the Indian variant of this car will hold only the minimum speed(i expect around 140kmph and mileage will be more than 16kmpl to make it more suitable for Indian markets).

150cc Bikes in Indian Scenario
India is famous for tiny engine bikes all around the world. But now world's Leader in Twin spark Engine(Bajaj) and world's one of the prestigious automobile company(Enfield) are sprouted only in India.
Recent improvements in the Indian Bike industry of India is abnormal and it had helped our economy in its own way.
150cc bikes in India plays the major segment in bikes sales compared to 100c bikes now a days. Kudos to the Hero Honda CBZ which initiated the 150 cc market.
HeroHonda CBZ was followed by Suzuki Fiero and the Revolutionary Bajaj Pulsar which started occupying entire market itself. The competition between Bajaj Pulsar and the CBZ was unforgettable. We can see frequent tracks between these two bikes always on the roads.( I am mentioning only about the successful models up to my limited knowledge)
Suzuki unable to compete with sales of pulsar soon withdrew it name and TVS Fiero came in the market which too was more unsuccessful.
This was the time when Wing Bike the Honda Unicorn entered the market. As soon as it entered the markets it started grabbing all Bike enthusiasts. This made our Indian Bikes 150 segment to refine. Bajaj entered into competition with Unicorn with its DTSi - Digital Twin Spark Ignition engine. Hero Honda Introduced CBZ* which was an Utter flop since they didnt innovate anything properly in that.
Then the TVS who lost his market in150 cc segment wanted to regain its market by Apache which started to boom in sales. So Apache got a good name in 150cc bikes.
Looking at the Tough competition and Recommendation for a Super Sports Bike in150cc segment HeroHonda introduced its CBZ Xtreme. A wonderful ad powerful bike from the HeroHonda company. Before every one could turn towards CBZ Xtreme, Bajaj Pulsar released its Digital Pulsar - Pulsar with Most electronic components. which made CBZ to be silent. Also the Pulsar's Engine was upgraded to the powqer of the new CBZ Xtreme.
Following Digital Pulsar TVS rleased Digital Apache with a new brand Apache RTR160 with stunning looks and style.
In the Recent months 150cc segment has more healthier competition.
The Yamaha's R15, FZ150 and Suzuki's GS150R has entered which has proved excellent performance compared to other 150cc bikes in India.
The Bikes that are Expected to come are:
Honda CBR150
Discover 150DTSi
Lets Expect these Heroes to come and Rock our Bike Industry.

Hero Honda Bikes - Engine
HERO HONDA ENGINES
Do you all know why the Mechanics always prefer Hero Honda bikes?
Not because they have a strong chassis and body ....
It is because of its Tilted Engine.
The Engine of the Hero Honda is tilted Horizontallysuch that it allows the Engine to flow freely through out the Engine to make it ready once it starts. Where as other bikes engine are looking upwards which requires the oil to be lubricated all over the engine after some time. so idle acceleration is required for other Bikes.
However this kind of Tilting of Engine is applicable only for 100c and 125cc bikes of Hero Honda. 150cc and higher end bikes will have upright engine only.
Now can you get why Mechanics Prefer HeroHonda !!!
Cheer!!!
